Friendships
Friendships have contributed greatly to many of my
accomplishments in my life this far and will continue to in the future. They have helped me in many areas of my
life. They have helped me with my
athletics and schooling. Friendships
helped to motivate me to practice and push on and were there to cheer me on at
many of my games. If it wasn’t for my
friends I wouldn’t have been the successful athlete that I was in high school
or in college. Two friends in particular
helped me to become a better baseball player.
They were always wanting to play baseball and would push me to
practice/play with them. This helped me
tremendously and is partially why I am playing baseball in college now. They also helped me in my schooling. They would help me with my papers and spell
check my papers. One friend of mine,
Abby definitely helped me to be a better writer. I would often have trouble with wording
sentences how I wanted them and she was always willing to help me word it
right. She was also always willing to
help me in other classes when things didn’t make sense to me. If it wasn’t for here I probably wouldn’t be
the student I am now. I am sure later in
life after college friends will continue to help me accomplish new things
whether it’s helping me get a job interview or whatever it may be.
Batman’s friendships have be a huge
compliment to his success and vice versa for his friends. He helped Robin learn to become a better man
and stay out of “trouble”. Batman also
helps Gordon clean up the streets and also clean out the corrupt cops and
higher ups in Gotham. The friendships
Batman has is crucial to his crime fighting. Some of Batman’s friends are “utility”
friends and some are friends for pleasure.
I’d say he enjoys Robin’s friendship and just likes having him
around. I could see Gordon and Harvey
Dent for more of a utility friend just because of Batman and their work in
fighting crime.
