            The assessment of Electra saying she is tough but not tough enough is not a fair assessment.  She is super tough and a bad ass.  She kicks butt and just because she got saved by a superhero male doesn’t mean she is weak or not tough.  Look at the beginning of the comic for example.  Elecktra easily could’ve taken out Daredevil.  I think this more than enough proof to realize that Eleckra is more than tough enough.  She also took down Daredevil without superpowers, just solely her athletic and martial arts abilities.  I also don’t find it a sign of weakness that she kisses Daredevil at the end.

            I would say yes that the media does perpetuate the idea that females need protection in this comic and probably a lot of other comics.  But I do believe this is changing.  For example, Iron man 3 Pepper saves Iron-Man from danger at the end of the movie.  In the Wonder Woman movie she saves her “boyfriend” and helps other men to win a war that they couldn’t possibly win without her.  Also in Batman vs Superman there was no way they could’ve beaten Dooms day without her.  In matter of fact Batman would’ve died if it wasn’t for her coming to his rescue.  So from these examples in movies I would say that media is changing from the idea of the female is always in need of the male for protection.

             Friendships         Friendships have contributed greatly to many of my accomplishments in my life this far and will continue to in the future.   They have helped me in many areas of my life.   They have helped me with my athletics and schooling.   Friendships helped to motivate me to practice and push on and were there to cheer me on at many of my games.   If it wasn’t for my friends I wouldn’t have been the successful athlete that I was in high school or in college.   Two friends in particular helped me to become a better baseball player.   They were always wanting to play baseball and would push me to practice/play with them.   This helped me tremendously and is partially why I am playing baseball in college now.   They also helped me in my schooling.   They would help me with my papers and spell check my papers.   One friend of mine, ...

Freedom vs. Safety I honestly don’t really know what to think about Snowden’s defiance.   For the fact that I see both sides of the argument.   For instance, I believe that it is wrong to hack our government and release government secrets, or what could possibly be dangerous to our national security.   So for that reason I do not agree with Snowden’s defiance and am against him doing that.             On the other hand what we have found out from that is concerning too.   The fact that the government can track our phone calls and duration kind of concerned me.   After finding out that the NSA goes further than that and goes through our personal emails and phones is scary.   I don’t like that they have the power to do that.   What also makes me mad is that they are going through all our private stuff but how many terrorist acts/ attacks have been stopped by all this? 1, and it was a cab dr...
